DAAD University Summer Courses Online – What Can You Expect?

• German course – in small groups: Live classes via ZOOM, with a digital text book and many additional materials.
• Pronunciation training – get professional help to improve your pronunciation.
• Socio-cultural knowledge – go on digital excursions, e.g. to Berlin, Leipzig or Dresden, and discuss topics relevant in Germany today.
• German Café – student tutors who to talk with you about various intercultural topics.
• Individual support and language learning counseling
• Certificate (5 ECTS Credits) – graded on your presentation, regular attendance, and the general fulfilment of all requirements.
• Altogether about 90 classes (45 min each).
• 2 times to choose from (08 a.m. – 11.15 a.m. or 02 p.m. – 5.15 p.m. German time)

International – intercultural – Sachsen-Anhalt (online):

Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic keeps us from showing you the most beautiful parts of Wittenberg, the famous hometown of Luther (UNESCO World Heritage Sites) with its historic downtown and all its cafés, restaurants, and stores, its quaint streets and green parks, and its bike lanes along the river Elbe. However, the internet at least allows us to give you a glimpse from a distance. In this way, we still hope to introduce you to Central Germany – and who knows, perhaps we will eventually see each other right here in town…
