German for Medicine in Wittenberg

Here’s what you can expect:

Class time

• 09 a.m. – 12.15 a.m. / 01 p.m. – 2.30 p.m. communicative language classes
• Training of all four language skills – reading, listening, writing, and speaking, focusing on:
• Reading and summarizing medical texts
• Vocabulary training and exercises for grammatical structures needed to communicate about anamneses, examinations, and communication with patients
• Writing medical reports
• Exercises for pronunciation and training of communicative skills
• Visit at a hospital
• Learning about current cultural and socio-political as well as historical topics, both on a regional and a national level.

Field trips and free time

• 2 days of field trips and lots of free time activities.
• Good-bye party with everyone involved.
• Support and help from international volunteers and student assistants.

Requirements

• This course is aimed at international students of medicine or similar disciplines, 17 years old or older.

This language course is not a preparation for an official language test.
