Online

A variety of social, cultural, and historical topics gives you a picture of Germany that is both multifaceted and relevant. The courses with international participants give ample opportunity for intercultural exchange and conversations. In this online course, we will focus on small group discussion, virtual field trips, work on projects, and pronunciation exercises. Additionally, you get to have conversations with German students in our virtual German café!

Here’s what you can expect:

Class time

  • Placement test.
  • 08 a.m. – 11.15 a.m. or 02 p.m. – 5.15 p.m. communicative language classes at different levels.
  • Training of all four language skills – reading, listening, writing, and speaking.
  • Lessons in pronunciation by trained specialists (4 classes/ week).
  • Learning about current cultural and socio-political topics as well as history and current reality of the area around Luther’s town, Wittenberg.
  • Individual advice to help you improve your learning strategies, help and support for homework.
  • Work on projects and a final exam.

Time for Self-Study

Please plan to spend some time outside of class for homework and to review.
