telc German B1 exam

If you already have a basic knowledge of German, “Zertifikat Deutsch / telc Deutsch B1” is the right exam for you.

What skills do I have at the B1 level?

At the B1 level, you are able to use simple language to communicate fluently while going about your day, traveling, and talking about things of particular interest to you. You’re able to talk about experiences you’ve had, describe goals, and discuss your opinions. In general, you are able to use the most important grammatical structures correctly.

What does the exam look like?

The exam consists of a written and an oral part. The written exam takes 2.5 hours. Before taking the oral exam, you have 20 minutes to prepare. The oral exam may take place on the day of the written exam or on a different day.

When should I sign up?

Please sign up no later than 17 days before the exam at our institute.
